1.1 Always follow the Instructions for Use

Please read the instructions carefully before using the appliance, and keep them
in a safe place. If the appliance is handed over to a third party, these instructions
should accompany it.
Failure to comply with the instructions could result in serious personal injury or
damage to the appliance.
Important safety information beyond the contents of Chapter 1 is prominently
marked, as below, and should be followed at all times in order to prevent
accidents and damage to the appliance:

Indicates information which must be followed in order to
prevent damage to the appliance.

1.2 Danger to certain categories of persons

There is an increased risk of injury for children and for people with reduced
capabilities:
• Children must not be permitted to operate the appliance. The appliance and its
power cord must be kept well away from them.
• This jug blender may be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities, or lacking experience and knowledge, if they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance by a
person responsible for their safety, and fully understand all dangers and safety
precautions involved.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the
appliance. Do not leave the appliance unattended while it is in use.
