Warranty Provisions

The company empasa GmbH, located at Im Herrmannshof 10, 91595 Burgoberbach, Germany grants you as consumer in Germany
a two (2) year warranty on the functionality of your gas heater, beginning on the date presented on the bill. This does not affect
your statutory warranty rights of subsequent performance, rescission or reduction as well as damages (§ 437 of the German Civil
Code or BGB).
Our warranty extends to material flaws in functionality caused by material or manufacturing defects.
In the event of a warranty claim, please contact us in advance via our contact form, by email or by phone at + 49 (0) 9805 / 9333
1996. Please let us know when the problem occurs or when it first appeared, preferably accompanied by pictures. In the event of a
material or manufacturing defect, our service team will either replace the product or offer a credit voucher.
The warranty does not cover defects resulting from improper handling or overloading of the product due to incorrect installation/
assembly or failure to follow the assembly/operating instructions. The warranty likewise does not cover wear and tear, external
impacts/weathering or the use of unsuitable accessories. The warranty does not cover products subject to repair or modification
by the consumer or which are no longer in an assembled state.
The warranty specifically does not cover damage that occurs if the replacement interval for the gas hose is not observed or if the
hose or pressure regulator used does not have approval or similar in Germany.
If a warranty claim arises and we replace the product, the warranty period does not start anew from the point of receipt of the
replacement product. The warranty period therefore always ends 2 years after the billing date, irrespective of any warranty cases.
If no warranty claim arises, we reserve the right to charge a processing fee of EUR 20.00. This will not apply if and as long as you
can refer to your legal warranty rights (legal liability claims for material defects become statute-barred in 2 years according to §
438 I No. 3 BGB) in addition to the warranty. In this case, however, we reserve the right to claim compensation for the expenses
incurred by us if we are not responsible for the defect and if you could have determined, during the reasonable examination, that
you yourself are responsible for the causes of the defect.
