Improper assembly, modifications or changes can result in damage to one's person or property.
Do not attempt to modify this gas heater in any way.
The assembly of the gas heater and the storing of the propane cylinders must be carried out in accordance with applicable
provisions.
Do not move the gas heater during operation.
Close the valve on the cylinder and the regulator before moving the gas heater.
The tube or flexible hose must be replaced once a year.
Take precautions that the gas heater will not tip over in strong winds.
Do not store or use petrol or other flammable gases or liquids in the heater.
Before using, check the entire gas system, the hose control, the pilot flame igniter and the burner for leaks or damage.
All leak checks should be done with a soap solution. Never use an open flame to check for leaks.
Do not use the gas heater until it has been tested for leaks.
If you smell gas, shut the gas valve immediately.
Do not move the gas heater during operation.
After operation, wait until the gas heater has cooled down before moving it.
Keep the air vents of the gas cylinder housing clean and free of debris.
Do not apply paint to the radiant screen, control panel or top canopy reflector.
The gas heater's control panel, burner and circulation air passageways must be kept clean.
More frequent cleaning may be required as necessary.
Keep the LPG cylinder turned off when the gas heater is not in operation.
Check the gas heater immediately in the event of the following:
The gas heater does not give off sufficient heat.
The burner makes popping noises during operation (light popping noises may be heard when the burner is turned off –
this is normal).
Gas odour in connection with a flame with a very yellow tip.
Do not place the LPG regulator/hose assembly must be located out of pathways where people may trip over it and areas
where it may be damaged accidentally.
If removed for maintenance purposes, all protective cladding and safety elements must be reattached prior to use of the gas
heater.
Replace the gas cylinder in a well-ventilated area away from combustion sources.
Test whether the regulator seal is correctly fitted and in good condition.
Do not block the casing's ventilation holes.
Keep both adults and children away from the hot surface to prevent risk of burns and combustion of clothing.
Children must be carefully supervised when in the proximity of the gas heater.
Do not hang articles of clothing or other flammable materials on or near the gas heater.
The rubber hose can be replaced by the user. Please note that the hose length must be 100 cm and must meet national regu-
lations.
Liquid petroleum gas (LPG) properties: flammable, explosive, heavier than air and sinks to the floor.
Propane in its natural state has no odour. For your safety, an odorant has been added that smells like rotting cabbage.
Skin which comes in contact with LPG can become frostbitten, with wounds similar to burns.
This gas heater is made to be used only with propane, butane or a propane-butane mix (normally called liquid petroleum gas,
or LPG).
Use only 11 kg LPG cylinders which meet local regulations (the same type normally used with gas barbecue grills) with safety
valves.
