Safety instructions

Warning
• The regulator valve must be kept CLOSED when the gas heater is not in use. Close the valve to the gas cylinder and the gas
regulator after use.
• Use of this heater in closed spaces can be hazardous and is therefore PROHIBITED.
• Never use the gas heater in the rain, as the glass tube may break suddenly if it comes in contact with water.
• In the event of rain, switch off the gas heater.
• Never splash liquids onto the glass tube when the heater is in operation.
• The glass tube becomes extremely hot during operation. Never attempt to touch the glass tube. Keep children away from the
heater.
• Always make sure that the gas heater is standing securely on the ground. If the gas heater tips over the glass tube may break.
• Do not use the gas heater under any circumstances if the glass tube shows cracks.

Gas requirements

Warning
• Use propane, butane, or a propane-butane mix.
• The maximum intake pressure to the regulator must not exceed 100 psi (6.89 bar).
• The pressure regulator and the hose assembly used must conform to standard specifications.
• Use a proper pressure regulator which meets regional specifications and the specifications on page 32 of this manual.
• Assembly must meet regional specifications. If such specifications do not exist, adhere to the standard specifications for the
storage and handling of LPGs.
• Dented, rusted or damaged propane cylinders may be hazardous and must be checked by your supplier.
• Never use a propane cylinder with a damaged valve connector.
• The propane cylinder must be configured so that gas can be extracted from the cylinder in use.
• Never connect an unregulated propane container to the gas heater.
• The rubber hose connecting the regulator to the intake may not exceed a length of 50 cm.
• The rubber hose must display CE marking and be heat resistant between -20° and 80°.
