2. Positioning the tens disc (1-2-3)
When positioning the tens disc, plate the arm (with digit 2) before the two adjacent gear teeth located on the upper part of the unit
disc.
This enables the tens disc to jump when switching from 29 to 30 and from 31 to 1.
3. Positioning the friction spring of the seconds pinion N
Position exactly as shown in the accompanying chart. Insufficient tension would allow the seconds wheel to become loose.
Excessive tension would further reduce the amplitude of the balance wheel.
4. Changing the friction spring of the seconds pinion N
Caution : do not remove the friction spring of the seconds pinion (N
ment. This would widen the 2 holes and would cause the spring to become loose.
If the spring moves in its housing when slightly pushing the spring's extremity with a pair of tweezers, proceed as follows :
1. Use a staking tool with an anvil larger than the holes.

This may be done at any time since there is no risk of damaging any of the parts of the various devices.
Please note that between 8 pm and 1am, the unit disc is no longer centered automatically by the jumper. The number must
be positioned in the window through instant correction. However, outside these hours, the disc centers itself automatically in the
window.
9. Positioning the drive wheel of the seconds gear train N
This wheel is mounted on the axis of the third wheel. To carry out his operation it is absolutely necessary to support the third-
