IDENTLOC evaluation unit master mode

8.1

General

A conventional connection can be realized in conjunction with a 2-relay 2MG module BUS-2 (Item no. 041220) to a control
panel (master mode). To do this, switch the evaluation unit to master mode and connect the evaluation unit to the 2-relay 2MG
module directly at the BUS-2 connections, (see connection diagram).
The alarm and fault messages are transmitted to the control panel via conventional wiring via the two relays of the module.
This connection variant is available as of firmware version V03.01 of the evaluation unit.

Programming and function

Operating modes: (required DIP switch settings see chapter 7.4)
Address setting at 2-relay 2MG module BUS-2: Address 1
1. Teaching mode corresponds to chapter 7.8.3 (Variant: without connection to control panel)
- The cover contact must be open.
- Switch S1/8 to ON: Teaching mode is switched on (yellow LED lights up).
- The connected sensors are registered (see 7.8.3 Register sensors).
- Switch S1/8 to OFF: Teaching mode is switched off (yellow LED goes out).
- Close cover contact.
2. Walk test
- Input ML1 (armed/disarmed) put out of tune the terminating resistor i.e. disarming operation.
- Input ML2 (clear) short time put out of tune i.e. delete an alarm indication of detector group, switch on the walk test.
- Input ML1 projected value of the terminating resistor i.e. arming operation, switch off the walk test.
3. Triggering of alarm
- Every alarm actuation of inputs 1-5 is indicated on the relay as long as the trigger is present.
- Every actuation of a detector group input is stored in the armed state until clearing the detector group.
Alarm actuation of a glass break detector is stored also in the disarmed state until clearing the detector group.
- In the armed state, the LEDs are not activated.
- In the disarmed state only the currently stored actuations are displayed.
Glass breakage: LED is blinking
4. Tamper
- Every release of the cover contact at the evaluation unit and at the 2-relay 2MG module are indicated on the
relay „tamper" as long as the trigger is present.
