Operation

Important
• Set the correct operating voltage (110 V or
220-240 V) before using the device for the
first time.
• If you do not know the local mains voltage,
request it from the relevant organisation.
• Do not jam the mains cable [6] in drawers
or doors, for example.
• Untangle the mains cable [6] if it is twisted.
• Do not pull, twist or bend the mains cable
[6] and do not pull or route it over/on sharp,
pointed objects or hot surfaces.
Warning
• Position yourself on a dry, non-conductive
surface.
• Make sure that your hands are dry!
• Dry your hair with a towel beforehand.
• The professional nozzle [1] and device may
become very hot depending on the switch
setting and period of use – risk of burns
and fire!
• Do not touch the professional nozzle [1].
• Allow the professional nozzle [1] to cool
down before removing it.
• Place the device on fireproof surfaces only.
• Ensure that no highly flammable liquids are
located near the device.
• Do not use the device on synthetic hair –
risk of fire!
• Ensure that no hair can be directly sucked
into the device.

Note
A slight odour initially develops after switching
on the device for the first time. This is normal
and not harmful to your health. Allow the
device to run for three to five minutes. After
that you can use the device as normal.
• For your safety, the device switches off
automatically if it overheats.
• Pull the mains plug out of the socket and
allow the device to cool down.
• Before switching the device back on, check
the protective grille with lint filter [2] for any
blockages.
• Switch on the travel hair dryer at the sliding
switch [4]:
0 Off
1 Low air flow, warm air
2 High air flow, hot air
• You can use the rotating professional
nozzle [1] to adjust the direction of the hot
air as required.
• Dry and/or style your hair as desired.
• After each use/at each break, always switch
off the travel hair dryer at the sliding switch
[4] (setting 0).
• After each use, pull the mains plug out of
the socket.
• Allow the device to cool down.
• Do not wind the mains cable around the
device!
• Store the device in a dry place out of the
reach of children.
• The device can be hung on a hook using
the hanging eyelet [5].
