7 – Installation and setting

Fit collet and router head
Always wear safety gloves when han­
dling router heads!
Place router on its side.

Turn the router axle by hand, at the
same time pressing the lock button (4).
As soon as it engages: Hold it down
firmly and using an open­ended
spanner (23), screw off the router
chuck (16).
Fig. 3: Select a suitable collet (21) for
the router head used.
For router heads with
6 mm shank: small inner diameter
8 mm shank: large inner diameter.
Insert collet (21) and screw router
chuck (16) on again loosely by hand.
