3.11.1 Set sensitivity
By setting the sensitivity, you determine the change of inductivity for each channel,
which a vehicle has to cause in order to set the appropriate output of the detector.
Sensitivity settings are done separately for each channel via 2 DIP-switches.
Sensitivity levels
DIP switch positions (see *)
1 (f/f = 0.27 %) „low"
2 (f/f = 0.09 %)
3 (f/f = 0.03 %)
4 (f/f = 0.01 %) „high"
= on;
= off; 1 + 2 = Channel 1; 5 + 6 = Channel 2 (* TST SUVEK2)

3.11.2 Set hold time
The hold time can be adjusted via DIP-switches 3 and 7. After the hold time has
expired, a "loop free" signal is emitted, followed by an automatic rebalancing of the
loops. The hold time starts as soon as the loop is seized.

3.11.3 Set frequency, readjustment
The admissible frequency range is 30 kHz to 130 kHz. The frequency depends on
the selected frequency level as well as the inductance, which results from the loop
geometry, number of turns and loop supply line.
A readjustment can be triggered manually by changing the frequency setting of a
channel.
The detector automatically adjusts the loop frequency when the power supply is
switched on. In case of a short-time voltage loss of <0.1,1s no recalibration will
take place.
The operating frequency of the detector can be adjusted in two steps via DIP
switches 4 and 8.

LED status indicators

The green LED indicates that the detector is operable. The red LED indicates the
occupancy status of the loop or the activation of the relay outputs.

Tab. 27: Key to LED symbols
About one second after a frequency adjustment, the current loop frequency is
indicated by a flashing code of the green LEDs. First, the factor of the 10 kHz digit
is indicated. After a short pause, the multiples of the 1 kHz digit are indicated in the
same way. If the value is zero, the LED flashes 10 times. The 1-kHz flashing is
faster than the previous 10-kHz flashing.
