damages due to incorrect installations.
The manufacturer has carefully checked the device hardware and software as well
as the product documentation. Mistakes cannot be avoided completely and we will
always gratefully accept any information in this respect.
3.1
Safety instructions

Follow the instructions!
Follow the instructions for all products used! Incorrect commissioning can lead
to electric shock and serious injuries!
Use The traffic detector TST SUVEK1/2 only for the intended purpose with
controllers from FEIG ELECTRONIC GmbH!
The installation, commissioning and replacement of the product may only be
carried out by qualified personnel with accident prevention training.
The device may not be used as a safety component as defined by the Machinery
Directive, the Construction Products Regulation or other safety regulations.
Systems posing a threat of danger require additional safety equipment.
Impermissible alterations and the use of spare parts and additional devices not
sold or recommended by the device manufacturer can result in fire, electric shocks
and injury. Such measures result in abrogation of the liability and void the
manufacturer guarantee.
The device is subject to the manufacturer's guarantee conditions valid at the time
of purchase.
The manufacturer will not accept any responsibility for incorrect manual parameter
settings performed on a device or the unsuitable use of a device.
Repairs may only be performed by the manufacturer.

Users of devices which come into contact with electrical voltage are required to
comply with the valid VDE regulations. In particular, however, without claim to
completeness, these are: VDE 0100, VDE 0550/0551, EN 60335 (VDE 0700), EN
60065 (VDE 0860), EN 50110 (VDE 0105) well as the fire and accident prevention
regulations DGUV.
Work performed on the device and in conjunction with its setup must be conducted
in accordance with the specifications of the national electrical regulations and local
regulations.
The user is responsible for ensuring that the device has been setup and connected
in accordance with the accepted national and local technical regulations applicable
in the land of use. Especial attention is to be paid to the dimensioning of cables,
fusing, earthing, cut-off, separation, isolation monitoring and over-current
protection.
Dispose of the product at the end of its service life in accordance
with the valid legal specifications.

3.3
Product description
The induction loop detector TST SUVEK1/2 is a system for inductive detection of
vehicles with the following characteristic features:
evaluation of one (TST SUVEK1) or two (TST SUVEK2) induction loops
galvanic separation between loop and detector electronics
automatic alignment of the system after switch-on
continuous adjustment of frequency drifts
no mutual interference between loops due to multiplexing (TST SUVEK2)
sensitivity independent of loop inductivity
indication of occupied loops via LED
open collector outputs galvanically separated by optocouplers
indication of loop frequency via LED
optional diagnosis function with diagnostic device VEK FG2

The traffic detector TST SUVEK is an electronic sensor for the inductive detection
of vehicles. The expansion card is only allowed for use with controller by FEIG
ELECTRONIC GmbH.
Operation is only permitted with the following controllers:
