When the Giersch gas burners are put into
operation, the follwoing values have to be set
at the air pressure controller LGW 10A2
After adjustment of the burner please check that
it automatically stops when the aspiration of air is
reduced. It must stop before the CO concentra-
tion in the dry, neat flue gas exceeds 1000 ppm.
If necessary correct the set value of the air pres-
sure controller.
The same procedure has to be applied with
other brands.

2.8 Servicing and Cleaning

2.8.1 Cleaning of combustion chamber

Starting maintenance work on mobile heating
unit
• Turn off electrical supply
• Set selector switch to „0"
• After the heater has cooled down, the main
switch must be turned off
• Loosen clamping-ring on burner bracket
Remove burner
• Clean combustion chamber with brush and
vacuum cleaner through the opening

• Turn off electrical supply
• Set selector switch to „0"
• After the heater has cooled down, the main
power switch must be turned off.
• Upon removing the relevant casing walls,
the cover of the heat exchanger, and the
heat exchanger seal, the individual pockets
of the heat exchanger have to be cleaned
using a brush and a vacuum cleaner

2.8.3 Burner after sales Service

Unscrew the 4 screws above and below down
side, the 2 screws left and right at the blank
cover, the push the blank cover upside and
remove it by pulling it outside.
