Before use

Please read instructions carefully and
completely before using the appliance.
Caution
• This appliance can be used by persons
with reduced physical, sensory or men-
tal capabilities or lack of experience
and knowledge if they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning
use of the appliance in a safe way and if
they understand the hazards involved.
• Children shall not play with the appli-
ance.
• This appliance shall not be used by
children.
• Children shall be kept away from the
appliance and its main cord.
• If the supply cord is damaged, it must
be replaced by the manufacturer, its
service agent or similarly qualified per-
sons in order to avoid a hazard.
• Always switch off and unplug the
appliance when it is left unattended
and before assembling, disassembling,
cleaning and storing.
• Do not use the appliance if the rotating
sieve or the protecting cover is dam-
aged or has visible cracks.
• Before plugging into a socket, check
whether your voltage corresponds with
the voltage printed on the bottom of the
appliance.
• This appliance is designed for house-
hold use only and for processing nor-
mal household quantities.
• Do not use the appliance for any pur-
pose other than the intended use
described in the user manual. Any mis-
use may cause potential injury.
• Please clean all parts before first use or
as required, following the instructions
in the Care and Cleaning section.
• Do not touch the shredding blades.
• Do not bring the power cord into con-
tact with hot parts, do not pull it over
sharp edges or carry the appliance by
the power cord.
• Protect the motor part and the power
cord against humidity. Motor part and
power cord must no longer be used
after they have been immersed in water.
• Important:
Keep all packaging (plastic bags, pol-
ystyrene foam) away from children.

Please clean all parts before using for the first
time – see paragraph «Cleaning».
Start lock / Safety system
The appliance can only be switched on when the
juice collector (5) has been inserted and the lid is
securely locked with the clamps (3). When the
clamps are released while the motor is running, the
motor stops within 3 seconds.
Assembling
1. Assemble the juice spout (10a/10b) to the juice
collector (fig. a). Slightly press together the sides
of the juice spout with thumb and forefinger at
the check marks.
2. Put the juice collector (5) on the motor part (1)
(fig. b).
