2. Cleaning the Filters

NOTE: The key to maximum performance is having a clean filter. Cleaning the filter frequently will
help your vacuum cleaner operate at peak efficiency. A spare HEPA filter is provided with your
vacuum cleaner to allow you to dry one filter properly while using the other. Additional filters can be
purchased from www.cleva-europe.com.
1) Open the filter cover on top of the handheld vacuum by squeezing ( ① ) the two filter cover
release buttons ( ③ ) inward and lifting off ( ② ) (Fig. 20).
2) Remove the HEPA filter from the top of filter chamber. Remove the round foam filter from inside
of the HEPA filter (Fig. 21).
3) Use a soft brush to clean loose debris from the HEPA filter and then rinse with warm water.
Rinse and gently squeeze dry the foam filters. Set all filters aside and allow to air dry for 48 hours.
IMPORTANT: The filters must be completely dry before reuse.
4) Place the round foam filter into the center of the HEPA filter. Insert the HEPA filter into the filter
chamber and reattach the filter cover.
3. Cleaning the Multi-floor Brush Head and Removing Blockages
The multi-floor brush head may accumulate debris such as strings, hair and fibers. This type of
debris can wrap around the brush and diminish its ability to clean effectively.
The Easy-Cut blade in the multi-floor brush head will cut most debris accumulation away from the
brush roll. After every use, clean the brush roll with the Easy-Cut system by stepping on the button
for 1-2 seconds as illustrated while the vacuum cleaner is operating. Repeat above step more than
5 times for better performance (Fig. 22).
NOTE: It is recommended to use the Easy-Cut system while the battery is fully charged.

1) Make sure the vacuum cleaner is turned OFF, battery pack is removed and remove the
attachment from the telescopic wand.
2) To unlock brush roll, grab the metal ring and rotate to the unlocked position. With nozzle facing
down, pull out the brush roll from the housing (Fig. 24).
3) Clean off debris and anything wrapped around the brush roll.
4) Reinsert the brush roll back into the head by aligning the brush roll to the brush drive, ensuring
it is fully and securely placed on to the head. Rotate the roll slowly to make sure the roll
matches the drive gear. Rotate the brush to ensure it turns easily before turning the vacuum ON.
5) Lock the brush roll in place by rotating the metal ring from the unlocked symbol position to the
locked position. Then place the metal ring in the slot (Fig. 25).
Remove a Blockage
1) Press the release button on the telescopic wand, and pull the multi-floor brush head away from
the telescopic wand.
2) Carefully remove any debris or blockage from the inside of the multi-floor brush head.
The multi-floor brush head contains an EASY-CUT blade. It has an
