3. Make sure that you have oriented the FPU correctly over its socket. Lower
the FPU into the socket loosely and make sure that all of the leads are
aligned with the corresponding leads in the socket.
4. Support the board from behind with your fingers and insert the FPU into
the socket by pressing with your thumbs.
You can now go on to the next section, "Installing the High-Performance
Measurement Coprocessor."
If
you have any problems with the FPU, do not try to remove it - a special
tool is required. Contact your HP Sales and Service Office for assistance.
