Removal Procedure
Normally you won't need to remove a memory board from the measurement
coprocessor once it is installed. However, there is an exception. If you are
installing a 4 MB board on a measurement coprocessor that has a 1 MB board
in the RAM-l location, you will need to remove the 1 MB board and install the
4 MB board in the RAM-l location. You may then install the 1 MB board in
the RAM-2 location.
Before you begin, read the installation procedure in the previous section and
become familiar with the precautions. Then, follow these steps:

Before you attempt to remove a memory board, you must
remove the screw that secures it to the measurement
coprocessor. Serious damage may result if you fail to do this.
1. Turn the measurement coprocessor so that its component side is down and
remove the retainer screw that secures the memory board.
2. Once the screw has been removed, turn the measurement coprocessor so
that its component side is up and lay it on its antistatic bag (if available).
3. Loosen the connectors that hold the memory board in place by gently
prying, first at one end and then at the other, using a plastic pen or the
eraser end of a pencil:
