10.5. Adjusting tine placement

By loosening the tine clamps, you can slide them over
the tine beam. This allows modification of the position
of each tine, for example to get a tine to work straight
behind the tractor wheel.
Tines can also be removed from the tine beam. For
example, a 3 meter machine delivered with 6 tines can
also be equipped with 4 or 2 tines. Simply unbolt the
tine clamp, and the whole tine assembly will come off.
The number of tines per tine beam must always be equal!
Also try to keep tine positioning symmetrical.
Make sure that there is always a minimum of 45cm clearance between two adjacent tine legs.
Attention! All adjustment of tine placement should be done in a workshop by a person with
specialist technical training. On some machine models, certain tine positions may collide with
other parts of the machine, e.g. the headstock support beams. The manufacturer denies all
liability related to modified tine placement.

10.6. Wing styles

There are 3 different wing styles on the market that fit to the MULTIDISC XL VARIO tine leg:
-
Wing high (265 mm wide)
-
Wing low
(300 mm wide)
-
Wing wide (350 mm wide)
Fitting a wing style other than the one that came with the machine, should be done in a workshop
by a person with specialist technical training. On some machine models and certain tine
positions, certain wing styles may collide with the machine frame. In that case, tine position has
to be adjusted in order to make the wings fit properly (see chapter 10.5). The manufacturer will
not be liable for incorrect fitting of a different wing style.
