- An example: a 3 meter machine is equipped with 2 tine beams. If in total 6 tines are
mounted, then there are 3 tines per tine beam. Start with 120 BAR at the gauge.
- Do a short 30 meter run to check if these settings are satisfactory. See chapter 6 for
instructions.
If you are not satisfied with this break-back setting, use the following guidelines to adjust to your
conditions:
- Stony conditions demand a low break-back pressure to protect the tines from damage.
- Deeper tine working depths require higher break-back pressure, and vice versa.
- Faster forward speeds require higher break-back pressure, and vice versa.
- Heavier soils require higher break-back pressure, and vice versa.
Setting the correct break-back pressure is the full responsibility of the user. The manufacturer is
not responsible for damage to the tines resulting from a too high break-back pressure setting.
The maximum setting for the break-back pressure is 200 BAR at the gauge. A higher break-back
pressure will cause damage to the hydraulic components.
