13.3 Inserting the M266 into the DS266

Place the M266 inside the DS266 charging tray in an upright position and onto the charging contacts at the
back.

13.4 Switching on the M266 handheld terminal

In order to switch on the device, simultaneously press the "C" button and the "orange enter" button to the
right of "0" until the status LED beneath it lights up. You can then release the buttons. The desktop of the
operating system or your usual work environment appears on the display.

13.5 Suspend mode

In suspend mode, the operating system and the application running on it are stopped. The display is
switched off and consequently becomes dark. The M266 only consumes very little power in suspend mode.
Access to the suspend mode is obtained by simultaneously pressing the "C" button and the "orange enter"
button to the right of "0". Upon leaving suspend mode (same procedure as under Point 5.5 "switching on the
M266 handheld terminal"), the application and the operating system start to run from the same point.

13.6 Switching off the M266 handheld terminal

The device is switched off by pressing the three buttons "C", "↓" and the "orange enter" button to the right of
"0", whereby the button marked "C" must be pressed and held first. Then additionally press and hold the "↓"
button. Then additionally press and hold the "orange enter" button. Hold these three buttons for a minimum
of 10 seconds!

13.7 Status of the DS266 docking station LEDs

The POWER LED shows a green light as soon as the DS266 is supplied with current via the power supply
unit.
