Execution

Install the fitting in the make-up line. Ensure that all components are sufficiently sealed prior to their installation. During installation,
ensure the correct arrangement of the components and that direction of installation matches the direction of water flow.
Proceed as follows:
1. Disconnect the heating system from the power supply.
2. Secure the heating system against unintended reactivation.
3. If necessary, lock the make-up system.
– Ensure that you install the fitting downstream of the
system isolator.
4. Install the ball valve in the make-up line.
– Close the ball valve.
5. Install the R ¾ x Rp ½ segment coupling at the ball valve.
6. Connect the segment coupling with the filter head.
– If necessary, use the R ¾ x R ¾ dual nipple to connect
the fitting group.
7. Install the reducing piece at the filter head.
8. Remove the cartridge from its packaging.
9. Insert the cartridge into the filter housing.
– Ensure that the cartridge flat gasket points upward.
10. Manually screw the filter housing with the cartridge into the
filter head.
11. Ensure the correct position of the sealing ring (1) in the filter
housing (2).
– Use the optional filter key for tightening.
12. Slowly open the ball valve.
– The fitting is filled with water from the make-up system
and pressurised.
13. Check the fitting for leaks.
– Re-seal any leaking components.
14. Wait until the fitting is completely filled with water.
15. Slowly open the venting screw at the filter head.
– The fitting is vented.
16. Close the venting screw when bubble-free water escapes.
17. Switch on the heating system.
The fitting is installed.
