Then press the ON/OFF button (1) to go to the next "bl" parameter. Reduce or increase the pre-
set value (dosage quantity in m/L) by pressing the select program button (2) or the START but-
ton (3). Follow the instructions on the rinsing agent product label.
Proceed to Chapter 11.b. or exit the menu by pressing and holding down the ON/OFF button for
5 seconds until "- - -" appears in the display panel.
b. Setting the hardness range (for models with built-in water softener)
If the appliance is not fitted with a built-in water softener, proceed to Chapter 11.c. or exit the
menu by pressing and holding down the ON/OFF button for 5 seconds until "- - -" appears in the
display panel.
If you want to open at this point again, proceed by following the instructions in Chapter 11.a.
"To open the Commissioning menu".
If you are (still) in the Commissioning menu, then (repeatedly) press the ON/OFF button to open
the "dH" parameter. Press the select program button (2) or the START button (3) to set the
water hardness range for your area.

Now proceed to Chapter 11.c. or exit the menu by pressing and holding down the ON/OFF button
for 5 seconds until "- - -" appears in the display panel.
c. Setting the service counter
The appliance is fitted with a down counter which you can use to activate a service message or
a filter replacement message. The down counter has a range of 0-1000 with 0 = inactive. As
soon as the counter is set to a value between 1 and 1000, it will be activated. The preset value
is then multiplied by 50 and produces the number of wash cycles that, when reached, the "Ser"
message is displayed.
If you want to open at this point again, proceed by following the instructions in Chapter 11.a.
"To open the Commissioning menu".
If you are (still) in the Commissioning menu, then (repeatedly) press the ON/OFF button to open
the "CC" parameter. Press the select program button (2) or the START button (3) to set the re-
levant value.
Caution: Value x 50 = number of wash cycles
Now exit the menu by pressing and holding down the ON/OFF button for 5 seconds until "- - -"
appears in the display panel.
