– If you are not going to use the oral irrigator for some
time, let it dry properly when disassembled after the
last use!
– During the first few days of using the oral irrigator, your
gums might bleed slightly but this usually stops on its
own after a few days.
– To ensure the best results when cleaning, we
recommend replace every 3 months (the orthodontic
tip nozzle) and 6 replace every 6 months (the nozzle
/ tongue scraper) However, if the attachments are
showing signs of significant wear or damage, replace
them sooner.
IV. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
For maximum hygiene, clean the brush (B) and oral
irrigator (C) after each use! Rinse the attachments (B/D)
and the brush (B) under running water.
Wipe the brush body (A) with a damp cloth. Use the damp
cloth to wipe the oral irrigator body (C), charging base (E)
and its cable as well.
Other important notes:
– Before performing maintenance of the charging base (E),
unplug it from the mains first!
– Never immerse the appliance bodies (A/C) or the charging
base (E) in water!
– Do not clean the appliance in a dishwasher and do not use
any aggressive cleaning agents for cleaning!
– Never use water at a temperature exceeding 50 °C
to clean the oral irrigator (C).
– Allow all the appliance components - except for the
attachments (B/D) - to dry properly before their re-use.
– Make sure that the suction hose (C5) and protection filter
(C6) do not get damaged during maintenance and
(if removed) that they are re-attached before use.
Store the appliance and all the accessories in a dry,
dust-free and safe place, out of reach of children and
incapacitated persons.
If the suction hose (C5) or the protective filter (C6) is
damaged/lost, purchase their replacement under order
number ETA 270700040.
