16. After adjusting the exposure and zoom levels, you should have an image of the dental model with all relevant
positions clearly visible and without red markings, similar to the image below.
17. You are now ready to start the preparation scan.
Click on the Next button to start the scan.
18. After cropping and deleting various regions from the preparation scan, you will have an image of the dental model
free of any objects or parts not relevant for the current scan job, similar to the image below (keep only the relevant
parts of the scan).

The scanner can now proceed with a more detailed scan.
Click on the Next button to continue.
