Connecting the water piping

NOTICE
Do not use excessive force when connecting the piping.
This could deform the unit piping. Deformation of the piping
can cause the unit to malfunction.
CAUTION
Valves should always be used to control the water
circulation in the unit. The valve should be of the NC
(normally closed) type so that the valves are closed when
the unit is not operating. This will prevent condensate
water from being produced.

To connect the water piping

1 Connect the water inlet and outlet connections of the fan coil
unit to the water piping.

a Drain pipe connection (3/4"male)
b Chilled water inlet (3/4" female BSP)
c Chilled water outlet (3/4" female BSP)
d Heating water inlet (3/4" female BSP)
e Heating water outlet (3/4" female BSP)
g Air purge valve
Remark: Use a 3/4" male BSP pipe in case of direct connection to
the unit.
2 The complete water circuit, including all piping, must be
insulated to prevent condensation and reduced capacity.
