General
Oil addition only engages when the operating mode is Auto (Winter). The setting for heat
pump docking to oil-fired boiler is carried out in menu 9.2.13.1, where option 3 is selected.
To save this setting, it must be confirmed by switching the main switch off and on again. To
access extra hot water, an immersion heater must be installed in the water heater. When only
additional heat is selected in menu 9.2.4, the immersion heater is activated when the hot water
temperature is below or the same as the set start value for hot water charging in menu 1.4. and
when the hot water temperature is above or the same as the set stop temperature in menu 1.5,
switch the immersion heater off. If the immersion heater is not in the water heater, the
potentiometer sets "Max power output" (101) in mode A.

Conditions for additional heat
The condition for oil addition is that the degree minutes have dropped below the set start
value in menu 9.2.13.5. The ignition signal for the oil burner is held closed for at least the
time set in menu 9.2.13.6.
Controlling the oil shunt
When the oil addition is not used, the shunt is held closed. When the degree minutes have
dropped below the set start value for the oil addition, menu 9.2.13.5 gives the signal to the oil
burner by relay 11 closing. When the boiler temperature has reached the set value in menu
9.2.13.4, the oil shunt controls the flow line temperature to its desired value. When the degree
minutes exceed zero, the shunt closes and initially starts to control again when the degree
minutes have dropped below the set value in menu 9.2.13.5. If additional heat is active and
the return temperature exceeds the set value in menu 2.7 or if the input for Tariff A closes, the
shunt closes.
