4.1 Cleaning and care

ficult to clean it later.

1. Turn the appliance off and dis-
connect it from wall socket.
2. Allow the appliance to cool
down.
3. Remove the jug (1) from the mo-
tor housing (3). Rinse with water
to remove any large food partic-
les that may have accumulated
in the jug.
4. Replace the jug (1) on the motor
housing (3).
5. Place 1 to 1 ½ cups warm water
with some drops of mild clean-
ser into the jug (1) and switch to
speed "II" (5) for a few seconds.
Remove the jug (1) from the mo-
tor housing (3) and rinse with
water. Repeat as necessary.
WARNING:
not use boiling wa-
ter. The blade (2) as-
sembly bearings have
been designed with
a lifetime lubricant;
exposure to boiling
water may damage
these bearings and
shorten the life of
the blender.
