To Replace the Speech
Diaphragm:
1. Remove the front cover, clamp
plate and inner mask as described above.
2. Working from the outside-front of
the mask, gently and carefully push
against the grille moulding of the speech
diaphragm using a blunt instrument which
is sufficiently large enough not to slip
through and damage
membrane.
3. The speech diaphragm and O-Ring
will become detached from the front fitting
and can be removed from inside the
mask.
4. Before fitting
speech diaphragm, lightly lubricate the O-
Ring with MS4 Silicone Grease.
5. Fit the O-Ring over the speech
diaphragm and press the diaphragm and
O-Ring into the front fitting, black grille
first, taking care to ensure that the O-Ring
stays in place on the diaphragm.
6. Ensure that the speech diaphragm
is correctly seated in the front fitting.
7. Refit the front cover, clamp plate
and inner mask as described above.

STORAGE
When not in use, the equipment should
be stored in a clean, dry environment,
away from direct heat sources between
+10ºC and +30ºC, at a humidity of less
than 65% RH.
