To avoid a loss of vitamins, it is best to drink the fresh juice
immediately after preparing it.
How to best buy and keep
fruit & vegetables
• Always wash fruit and vegetables before juicing.
• Always use fresh fruit and vegetables for juicing.
• Buying fruits and vegetables of the season is the best way
of saving money and making fresh food.
• Keep a stock of fruits and vegetables for juicing. Wash fruit
and vegetables before juicing.
• Most fruit and vegetables with a hard skin can be kept in
a cool place rather than in the fridge. Sensitive and perish-
able food, such as tomatos, berries, vegetables with leaves,
celery, cucumber and herb plants, are best kept in the fridge
and only in manageable amounts.
How to correctly juice
fruit and vegetables
• The best method of producing blends of different juices is
to feed the juicer hard and soft food in turns. For example,
to extract juice from two kinds of root vegetables such as
carrots and beetroot plus a soft vegetable like tomatoes,
you should begin with the beetroot, then process the toma-
toes, and add the carrots last. This way of alternating
between hard and soft food best keeps the filter from being
clogged up with pulp and ensures that the juicer produces
juice to the best of its ability.
• To mix root vegetables with herbs or vegetables with small
leaves, we suggest to wrap the latter in a big salad leaf or
spinach leaf, or to push them down the chute between
pieces of root vegetable.
• Each type of fruit and vegetable contains its own characteris-
tic amount of liquid which not only depends on the type but
also on its quality and way of cultivation. For example,
a tomato bought today may well produce a different
amount of juice than a tomato bought tomorrow. Since the
exact proportion of each fruit in a blend does not make
much difference to the actual juicing technique, we will not
go into any recipe details at this point. Whatever juice you
make, juicing will never become a real household challenge.
• To get the most juice from the food, we suggest that you
exert but little pressure on the pusher as it goes down the
chute.

Ecology – Environmental Protection
The "crossed-out trash bin" symbol on electrical
equipment or packaging indicates that the device
cannot be treated as general household waste and
should not be disposed of into containers for such waste.
Obsolete or broken-down electrical device should be
delivered to special designated collection points, organized by
local public administration, whose purpose is to collect
recyclable electrical equipment.
This way, each household helps reduce possible negative
effects influencing natural environment and allows the
reclaiming of materials which the product is made of.
