Display

Texts and symbols in the display assist you in operating the business
handset. They will guide you through the menus and give you information
on the status of your handset.
The functions of the right and left softkeys change according to the current
status. The respective functions are shown in the display directly above
the softkeys.

Symbol denotations
Battery completely charged,
Battery nearly empty,
Battery symbol flashing: Capacity for less than five minutes!
Please note: After having inserted a battery pack, the business
handset does not "know" its charging status. So no battery signal is
shown. The battery signal in the display will only appear after the
battery pack has been charged for at least 14 hours without any
interruption in the business handset using the charger.
Mute: The microphone is off. Your call partner cannot hear you.
No calling signal: Calling signal is set to mute.
Lock: The business handset is locked.
Handset: The business handset has a telephone connection.
Dual-tone multifrequency dialling: Each push of the button is
transmitted to the connection subscriber as a DTMF tone, with audible
output (DTMF post dialling).
