Troubleshooting
Problem
The On/O button
ashes permanently
and the tea maker does
not start up.
All 4 LEDs ash at the
same time.
The LED "Clean
machine" does not go
out.
The LED "Descaling
necessary" does not go
out.
Only water (and no tea)
is dispensed from the
tea maker.
In the event that the sealing lm was not removed,
the pod has already been inserted into the machine
and this has been noticed before the brewing pro-
cess has started.
The tea maker ejects
the pods directly after
being inserted. Tea dis-
pensing is not possible.

Possible cause
The pod compartment is
open when switching on/
starting up.
System error
The cleaning programme
was cancelled/was not
completed.
The descaling programme
was cancelled/was not
completed.
The sealing lm has not
been removed from the
pod.
The cleaning or descaling
programme was can-
celled/was not completed.
Solution
Close the pod compartment.
Press and hold the On/O
button for 3 seconds until the
red LEDs stop ashing. The
On/O button ashes and
the tea maker restarts.
Restart the cleaning pro-
gramme and allow it to be
completed.
Restart the descaling pro-
gramme and allow it to be
completed.
Remove the sealing lm and
re-insert the pod.
Press and hold the On/O
button for 3 seconds or open
the pod compartment. The
pod will be ejected with-
out brewing (as long as the
brewing process has not yet
started).
Check to see whether both
LEDs for "Clean machine" or
"Descaling necessary" are illu-
minated, and then restart the
corresponding programme.
