1.1 General notes on safety
This operation manual is applicable for the machine LGS
30.
The machine may only be handled by personnel
who are qualified.
1.2 Use of the machine for purposes for
which it is intended
The machine is designed for marking/chisel of metal,
wood, plastic and the like.

1.3 Incorrect use

All uses other than those described under section
1.2 are regarded as incorrect use and are there-
fore not admissible.

2.1 Prior to taking the machine into service

Use oiled compressed air (see also air
quality under section 2.3). Observe nation-
al regulations.
2.1.1 Fitting of hose coupling
Fitting of hose coupling inside diameter min. 4.5mm
(available as optional accessory, item no. 90805400).

2.2 Taking the machine into service

2.2.1 Turn on/Turn off
Switch on the tool by turning in the direction of the arrow
to the stop. Turn back to switch off the tool.
Before cutting off the compressed air supply, al-
ways set the machine to the «OFF» position so
that the tool cannot be reactivated inadvertently.
