10. Electric connections (Fig. 7 - Fig. 8)

Version with incorporated condenser unit:
- The cabinet is designed for plug-in operation (PLUG NOT SUPPLIED). Install a plug of suitable
capacity for the electrical connection on the power cord according to the safety regulations in your
country: yellow-green = ground / blue = neutral / brown = phase
- Make sure the power cord is fully extended so that it cannot be damaged or cause any risk of injury
to others.
- For power supply lines that are longer than 4 - 5 m, increase the cable section accordingly.
- In the event of a power failure, make sure that all the electric appliances in the shop can be re-star-
ted without activating the over-current protections; if not, modify the system so as to differentiate
start-up of the various devices.
Incorporated / remote version:
- The cabinet must be protected upstream by means of a thermomagnetic omnipolar automatic
switch, of suitable characteristics, which also works as main knife switch in the line.
- The operator must know the switch position in order for it to be readily accessible in case of EMER-
GENCY.
- The electric system must be grounded.
- First of all, make sure that the power supply voltage is the same as that indicated on the nameplate
230V / 50Hz (Fig. 2).
- In order to guarantee regular operation, the maximum voltage variation must fall between +/-6% of
the nominal value.
- Make sure the supply line is wired with cables of adequate cross-section, and is protected against
current overload and grounded in conformity with the laws in effect.
- The installer should provide the anchorage for all the cables entering and leaving the cabinet.
The automatic magnetothermal switch must not open the circuit on neutral without also open-
ing it on the phases at the same time and, in any case, the opening distance of the contacts
must be at least 3 mm.
N.B. All these operation should be performed by specialized technical personnel only.

11. Control and adjustment of temperature (Fig. 4)

Control of the refrigeration temperature is made using the mechanical thermometer (Rif. 6) on the
suction sheet metal or on the display of the CAREL thermometer/thermostat device on the lower
section of the cabinet (Rif. 7).
Normally the temperature is set in the factory during testing, however the temperature can be
changed, if necessary, using the thermometer/thermostat Carel (OPTION) (Rif. 7) and proceeding as
follows:
- press and hold SEL key for a few seconds;
- the setting will start to blink;
- increase/reduce the set-point using the arrow keys
- press SEL again to confirm the setting.
N.B. All these operation should be performed by specialized technical personnel only.

12. Cabinet loading (Fig. 5)

A number of important rules should be followed in loading the cabinet:
- arrange the items in a uniform way so as not to exceed the loading limit line (Rif. 8); exceeding this
