• Avoid contact with skin, eyes and mucous
membranes. If any of these areas come into
contact with battery acid, rinse them immedi-
ately with plenty of clean water and consult a
doctor as soon as possible.
• Do not throw the battery into a fire, short-cir-
cuit it or dismantle it.
• Never expose the battery to excessive heat,
such as sunlight or fire, etc.
• If the product is not going to be used for some
time, remove the battery.
• If the battery is leaking, remove it from the
product immediately. Before inserting a new
battery, clean the contacts. There is a risk of
skin irritations from battery acid!
• Always remove a flat battery from the product.
• At low temperatures the capacity of the bat-
tery might drop significantly as the chemi-
cal reactions slow down. When taking pho-
tographs or videos in cold weather, keep a
second battery pack in reserve in a warm place
(e.g. trouser pocket).
