8. Wi-Fi function

You can use the Wi-Fi function to transfer photos and videos on
this camera directly to other devices such as smartphones or
tablet PCs when they are connected. You can also use these de-
vices as remote controls. Apart from video recordings, photo-
graphs or the downloading of files from the camera can be di-
rectly controlled via your smartphone or tablet PC.
You can only access the Wi-Fi menu by pressing the Wi-Fi button
in the preview or single view mode.
8.1. Connecting the camera with a
smartphone
 Before using Wi-Fi mode, please download the Wi-Fi app "ME-
DION LifeCam" from Google Play (Android) or the Apple Store
(IOS) and install it on your smartphone.
