Safety instructions
Avoiding damage to SD/MMC cards
• Never interrupt the power supply when data
are being processed.
• Never remove the SD/MMC card from the
camcorder while it is saving data.
Protection from condensation
• Avoid rapid changes in temperature.
• Place the camcorder in a protective case or
plastic bag before exposing it to any sudden
changes in temperature.
Avoiding malfunctions
• Protect the camcorder from wet conditions.
• Protect the camcorder from damp, salt and
dust.
• Protect the camcorder from strong magnetic
fields.
• Keep the camcorder away from sources of
strong electromagnetic fields, e.g. electric
motors.

Do not use or store the camcorder in direct
sunlight or at high temperatures.
At low temperatures the capacity of the
battery can drop significantly due to the
reduced speed of the chemical reactions.
When recording in cold weather keep a
second battery pack in reserve in a warm
place.
