SMI-2-Anschlüsse arbeiten in zwei Modi:
• Leistungsmodus (2:1) mit bis zu 3,2 GT/s für höhere Bandbreite
• Lockstep-Modus (1:1) mit bis zu 1,87 GT/s für höhere DDR4-Geschwindigkeiten und verbesserte RAS-Merkmale (Reliability,
Availability und Serviceability; Zuverlässigkeit, Verfügbarkeit und Betriebsfähigkeit).
Der maximale vom System unterstützte Arbeitsspeicher variiert je nach Größe der verwendeten Speichermodule. Es werden einfache,
zweifache und vierfache DIMMs mit Kapazitäten von 8 GB, 16 GB und 32 GB bis einer Gesamtkapazität von bis zu 3 TB unterstützt.
ANMERKUNG: DIMMs in den Speicher-Risern A und B sind Prozessor 1, C und D Prozessor 2, E und F Prozessor 3 und G
und H Prozessor 4 zugewiesen.
