Inlet valve (REF 070-011-00)
The closure cap is fitted with a
feature to check the position
of the valve. The inlet valve
corresponds to the same norm
as for car tires.
Manometer
The manometer displays an
area that is marked green
corresponding to 1.8 – 2.2 bar
operating pressure.
Safety valve
This comes into operation if
the vessel has been filled to a
pressure exceeding the red mark
at 2.2 bar. It releases pressure at
max. 2.5 bar.
Sliding switch
The switch is used to lock the
lid. It is an additional safety
feature to prevent the vessel from
opening whilst under pressure.
When the mechanical lid lock is
released, a release valve opens
simultaneously, allowing pressure
compensation.
