using a lintfree cloth). If the oil flowing out of
the pump cylinder is bubble-free, the cylinder
has been aired properly. After that, move the
consumer(s) back and forth several times until
most of the air has been drained here as well
and the movement is smooth. If the consumer
have air bleeds, loosen the locking elements and
do not tighten them again until bubble-free oil is
oozing out of these spots.
3.1.1 Oil Filler
„ The hydraulic oil needs to be fine filtered before
it can be filled in through the designated filler
opening. Filling Volume: approx. 8 litres.
„ Hydraulic oil in accordance with DIN 51524 T1.
1 and 2; ISO VG 10 through VG 68 according to
DIN 51519 or synthetic ester (HEES) according
to VDMA 24568 and 24569. Use only brand
name products. For a selection of approved
qualities, see Oil Recommendation D 5488.

„ Viscosity limits (start viscosity) min. approx. 4;

„ Hydraulic oils ISO VG 22, 32, and 46 possess
the widest temperature range within the optimal
operating viscosity range.
„ Ensure cleanliness when filling in the oil! A sieve
plate with a mesh width of 0.4 mm is built into
the pump below the filling plug, which will retain
any crude contamination from the oil tank.
Nevertheless, using a filler plug with a fine mesh
sieve of similar mesh width is recommended.
