A FEW STEPS TO PERFECT PREPARATION
When opening the lid hot steam can escape. Be especially careful when opening the lid.
MORE INFORMATION
Do not keep rice warm for more than 12 hours. Otherwise, it may develop odors, turn
yellowish in color, or dry out.
• Do not disconnect the power plug in WARM mode. Switch off the device first with
the OFF button.
• Risotto can not be kept warm as it tends to get sticky.
• Do not use the WARM warming mode for mixed rice, brown rice,
sweet rice or sprouted brown rice, because they can ruin or develop odors.
• There may be a slight burn-in layer on the bottom of the inner pot. This can be
removed by soaking the pot with water and detergent after cooking.
• Disconnect the power plug from the socket after use.
Brown rice cooking takes longer and requires more water than white rice due to
the extra bran layers on the grains. The water lines in the inner pot are intended
only for white rice.
Brown rice, wild rice and rice mixes differ in their composition. Some variations
may require longer cooking times and / or additional water
achieve optimal results. Recommendations for cooking can be found in the
cooking instructions of the leaflet.
Do not fill more than 3 cups of uncooked rice (2 cups brown rice) in the pot at a
time. The maximum capacity of this unit is 3 cups of paddy rice (2
Cups, if brown rice), which yields 6 cups of cooked rice (4 cups brown rice).
