Before the bath panel can be installed, the bath must be fully level
at a height of 540 mm from the floor to the lower edge of the bath,
as shown in figure 1.
The following components are provided for panel mounting:
- One front panel
- One right side panel
- One left side panel
- One front clamping structure
- One right clamping structure
- One left clamping structure
- One box of fittings containing:
9 screw rods
9 lower support plugs
4 supporting feet
9 panel positioning springs
2 joining sections
1 bag of bolts for panel attachment
1 bag of nuts and bolts for frame attachment
Once all components have been identified, follow the instructions
indicated below:
1. Mount the nine panel springs on the 520-mm long screw rods
with the help of the M10 nuts and washers, as shown in figure 2.
2. Screw the four supporting feet and respective lock nuts onto
the frame rivets, put the nine rods with the springs (after screwing
on an M10 nut and placing a washer) through the holes on the
frames (fig. 2). Do not tighten the lock nuts for these components
to the structure, simply make sure they are held in place.
3. Mount the front structure, securing it without tightening the
screws in the lower face of the levelling crossbars hanging over
the front of the bath, using the M6x70 screws (fig. 3).
4. Mount the two side structures, securing them to the lower
faces of the levelling crossbars hanging over the rear of the bath
without tightening the screws, using the M6x70 screws (fig. 4).
5. Join the side structures to the front one with two M6x50
screws and the respective washers and nuts, align the side struc-
tures at the rear with the far edge of the bath, at the same distance
used for alignment of the bath crossbars (fig. 5). Then tighten all
anchor bolts for the frame.
6. Level the feet supporting the structure on the floor, so that
they rest on the floor but do not raise the bath. Secure them in this
position using the lock nut.
7. Mount the support pads supplied on the rods, adjust the rods
with respect to the bath so that they press against the bath without
causing any deformation and the springs are flush with the edge
of the bath. Lastly secure them in this position using the lock nuts
(detailed view, Fig. 6). The two rear rods must be secured with a
set of washer and nut at the bottom of the frame.
8. Screw the supporting plugs completely onto the M6 rivets
in the frame and secure them with an M6 lock nut. Mounting of
these plugs is shown in figure 6. In the case of the two rear plugs,
a lock nut must be placed in order to secure them once the posi-
tion is defined.
9. In order to finish adjusting the right position of both the plugs
and the springs fitted over the bath supporting rods, the panels
should be secured in their position, i.e., with the upper rims fitted
between the edge of the bath and the supporting rods springs.
Wooden wedges may be used to help support them, starting with
the side panels, since the side wing of these panels must lie at the
rear of the bath, with the panels perpendicular to the floor (fig. 8).
10. Once fitted, check that all springs press against the panels
slightly outward and with even pressure.
Draw a reference line on the floor indicating the bottom position
of the panels. This line will help to identify the position of the plugs.
Remove the panels, then adjust and secure the plugs at a dis-
tance of approximately 3 mm toward the inside of this line.
If the springs were not in the right position, correct their position
so that they work properly.
11. Put the side panels in position again, using the wedges to
help so the panels are perpendicular to the floor.
12. Secure the bottom of the side panels using the screws sup-
plied for this purpose, screwing them into the plugs. Make sure that
the plastic washer is inserted before screwing in the screws.
13. Mount the joining sections supplied, fitting them between
the side panels and the front panel (fig. 8).
