Start-up
In order to be able to ensure precise load recognition, when
connecting the supply voltage, built-in device 6955 EB-
102-500 should be operated neither with short-circuit
nor with conventional secondary open-circuit
transformers.
After connection of the supply voltage, the microprocessor
integrated in built-in device 6955 EB-102-500 evaluates the
load and automatically decides whether sectional or
generalized phase control is to be selected. During this, the
lights may flicker briefly (1 second).
This evaluation process take place each time the supply
voltage is connected.
