Operation with Transformers
IMPORTANT
When using the ABB Powernet EIB built-in universal
dimmer actuator 6955 EB-102-500 (hereinafter referred
to as built-in device 6955 EB-102-500), the following
must be adhered to without fail:
1. Simultaneous operation with both electronic and
conventional transformers is not permissible. Nor is
operation of the device with an open-circuit conven-
tional transformer permissible.
2. When controlling conventional transformers, the primary
circuit of each transformer must be provided with
fuse protection in accordance with the manufactu-
rer's instructions. Only safety isolating transformers
in accordance with DIN VDE 0551 are to be used.
3. In order to ensure that, over the entire operating range,
from bright to dark, halogen lamps have the same lumi-
nosity, transformers with the same output voltage
and the same rating should be used.
