4 Operation

Once the controller has been connected to the
power supply, it is switched on . When a pass-
word protection against unauthorized operation
has been activated (

To unlock the controller for operation, use the
numeric keys [0] ... [9] to enter the 4-digit pass-
word .
When the displays shows

The display backlight will automatically switch
off approximately 90 seconds after the last op-
eration . It will switch on again when the joystick
is moved or when a key is pressed .
4.1 Selecting a camera
When multiple cameras have been connected
to a controller, the address (ID) for the camera
to be controlled must be entered first .
1) Use the numeric keys [0] ... [9] to enter the
number of the camera . The number entered
will appear on the right at the bottom of
the display .
If the number is not correct, use the key
[CLEAR] to delete it .
2) Press the key [CAM] .
This camera will remain selected for all control
actions to come until another camera number
is entered .
4.2 Controlling the camera movement
Use the joystick to control the camera move-
ments . When you move the joystick sideways ,
the camera will pan to the left or to the right;
when you move the joystick back and forth ,
the camera will tilt upwards or downwards . You
will also be able to combine two directions in
order to pan and tilt the camera at the same

4.3 Lens control
The lens functions for Zoom, Focus and Iris can

4.3.1 Zoom via joystick
