4 Connection
1) Connect the camera panning/tilting device via the
plug in the jack PAN/TILT CONTROL (9):

*when activated, a voltage of 24 V~ is present
2) The camera supply voltage can be picked up via
the plug in the jack LENS CONTROL (10):
1 +12 V , max. 500 mA
2 Ground
3) With model PTL-124, a motor zoom lens can be
connected via the plug in the jack LENS CON-
TROL (10):

4 Motor zoom
5 Motor focus
6 Motor focus
when activated, a voltage of 12 V
in case of wrong turning direction of the motor zoom or
focus, change the connections 3 + 4 or 5 + 6
4) Then connect the mains plug to a mains socket
(230 V~/ 50 Hz).

5 Operation

1) Switch on the control device via the POWER
switch (7). When the POWER switch lights up, it
indicates that the device is in operation.
2) Set the AUTO PAN switch (2) to the upper position,
if the camera shall pan back and forth automati-
cally (within the limit adjusted on the panning/tilt-
ing device). The green LED (1) lights up.
3) For manual panning, set the AUTO PAN switch (2)
to mean or lower position and keep the push-but-
ton PAN LEFT PAN RIGHT (3) pressed to the l. h.
side or r. h. side. The camera pans according to
the adjusted limit. The green LED (1) lights up as
long as the push-button PAN LEFT PAN RIGHT is
kept pressed.
4) For tilting the camera keep the push-button TILT
UP TILT DOWN (4) pressed in the upper or lower
position.
The below mentioned functions zoom and focus are
only provided with model PTL-124:
5) To adjust the focus of the motor zoom lens, keep
the push-button FOCUS (6) pressed in the upper
or lower position.
6) To operate the motor zoom, keep the push-button
ZOOM (5) pressed in the upper or lower position.
