• Mark the fixing holes on the wall and drill according to the choice of
rawl plugs. The rawl plugs should be suitable for wall mounting.
Fix the wall plates in place using the screws provided.
• Tighten the nuts (R) with the washers (Q).
Fixing the upright struts and connection (fig. 12)
• Mount the upright struts onto the frame.
• Connect the water supply pipes.
• Connect the soil pipe.
Covering the structure (fig. 13)
• Use the template to finish off the plasterboard.
2xBA13 or 1xBA25 + finishing layer (e.g. tiles)
or plasterboard (Gypsum board) + finishing layer
or special partition (e.g.: MDF) + finishing layer.
Prepare the Straight Sleeve (fig. 14)
• Place the connection washer (T) on the inlet sleeve (S).
• Attach the soil pipe sleeve (U) and the inlet sleeve (S) to the WC pan.
• Mark the sleeves to show where the WC pan fits against the load-
bearing surface of the wall (S + U).
• Then fit the sleeves onto the frame.
• Mark the sleeves to show where the pan fits against the wall
surface (V).
Cutting the pipes (fig. 15)
• Measure the lengths (T) and (U) between the 2 marks drawn above.
• Transfer these measurements to the end of the sleeves, cut to size
and file the rough edges.
Fixing the WC pan (fig. 16)
• Fit the connection washer (T) and the inlet sleeve (S) onto the pan.
• Then fit the outlet sleeve (U) onto the pan.
• Mount and adjust the plastic sheaths on the threaded rods.
The end of the rods should project beyond the sheaths by 40mm.
• Fit the WC pan, insert the washers and tighten up the nuts.
• Check that the following are watertight:
- Water supply
- Soil pipe
- Backflow at the vacuum breaker: adjust the flow rate using a 4mm
Allen key.
COMMISSIONING TEMPOMATIC
ELECTRICAL SUPPLY:
Installations in wet rooms must conform to local Electrical
Regulations/Standards and must be installed by a competent, qualified
electrician. Electrical supply 230V - 50Hz class II without earth connection.
Install a circuit breaker 30 mA before the electronic control box.
Provide a fixed router to secure the cables e.g. a rigid sheath.
WATER SUPPLY:
• Thoroughly flush the installation.
• Recommended dynamic pressure (during flow): 1 to 5 bar.
• Flow rate at 2 bar - 1.3 l./sec.; at 3 bar - 1.5 l./sec.
• Calculate the diameters of pipes based on probable flow rates
and the residual dynamic pressure.
INSTALLATION (fig. 17):
• The solenoid valve is connected to the water supply by a pipe of at least
Ø 20mm, respecting the direction of the water flow (see arrow
engraved on the side of the solenoid valve).
• The electronic control unit is mounted with the compression
glands facing downwards. (Do not forget to replace the caps to
conceal the mounting screws).
• Using the connector provided, connect the solenoid valve to the EV
12V terminal via the middle compression gland.
• Connect the detector cable to the RMB terminal on the control unit
via the compression gland:
- blue wire: blue terminal
- brown wire: brown terminal
- white wire: white terminal
- grey wire: grey terminal
- black wire: black terminal
• Do not cut or lengthen the detector cable: length 4m.
• Connect to the 230V electrical supply using an approved Ø7
diameter cable (minimum) to the Vac terminal on the control unit
(after the circuit breaker) via the right hand compression gland.
ADJUSTMENT (fig. 18):
Detection distance can be adjusted from 50 - 90cm
To change the detection distance:
1. Switch the interrupter (on the circuit board) to the "R" (Adjust) position.
Change the detection distance using the potentiometer "GAIN".
Do not set the potentiometers in their minimum or maximum position.
Example: To adjust the distance to 80cm, place an object (box) in front
of the sensor at a distance of 80cm and turn the
potentiometer "GAIN" to the point where the red LED lights up.
2. Next switch the interrupter to the "F" (Operate) position.
NB: If the red LED flashes continuously it shows that there is an object
(wall or door) in the detection zone: reduce the detection distance.
Timing the flush, adjustable from 4 - 12 seconds by the potentiometer
"TEMPO" located on the electronic control unit.
We recommend a flush length of 7 seconds.
The flow rate can be adjusted via the stopcock.
Remember: Do not set the potentiometers in their minimum or
maximum position.
REMEMBER
• Our flush valves must be installed by professional installers
in accordance with current regulations and recommendations in
your country, and the specifications of the fluid engineer.
• Check pipe sizing to avoid water hammer, excessive pressure loss
or reduced flow rates (see our brochure or website).
• Protect the installation with filters, water hammer absorbers and
pressure reducers to reduce maintenance frequency.
(Recommended pressure 1 - 3 bar).
• Fit stopcocks close to the valve to facilitate maintenance.
• The pipe work, stopcocks, valves and all sanitary ware must be
checked regularly.
CLEANING & SERVICING
• Cleaning chrome:
Do not use abrasive, chlorine or acid based cleaning products. Clean
with soapy water using a cloth or a sponge.
• Frost protection:
Drain the pipes and operate the valve several times to drain any
remaining water. Remove the cartridge if there is frost or when
the valves are not in use.
