Questionnaires were administered during both the
acute and chronic phases of the study to assess subjects'
qualitative judgments of the sound-cleaning and beam-
forming features. At the time of acute testing, subjects
were counseled with respect to the intended use of each
feature (WindBlock, SoundRelax, EchoBlock), evaluated,
and then asked via a questionnaire whether each sound
processing feature was acceptable (yes/no) and to rate
the favorable aspects of each feature using a numeric
scale from 1-7 (1=Strongly Disagree, 4=Neutral, and
