Please read through this user manual thoroughly before
using your Solis air humidifier TWIST AIR, so that you
become familiar with your appliance and can use it safely.
We thoroughly recommend that you keep these instructions
and, if you pass the appliance on, that you also hand these
instructions to the new owner.

For your own safety, please observe the following safety
measures when using electrical appliances:
1. To prevent electric shock, neither the appliance (except for
the inside of the water basin and the humidification mat) nor
the power cord and the power plug / power adapter must
come into contact with water or other liquids. Risk of electric
shock! Should the appliance (except for the inside of the water
basin) resp. the power cord or the power plug / power adapter
come into contact with water, use dry rubber gloves to imme­
diately disconnect the power plug from the power socket. Do
not start using it again before having it checked for function­
ality and safety by Solis or a service centre authorized by Solis.
2. Do not operate the appliance resp. pull or connect the plug
with wet or moist hands or feet.
3. Before first use, make sure that the voltage stated on the type
plate of the power adapter matches your mains voltage. We
do not recommend operating the appliance with a multiway
plug adapter.
4. Do not make any changes to the appliance, power cord, power
adapter or the accessories.
5. Only use the appliance as described in this manual to humidify
the air in living spaces. Do not use the appliance outdoors and
protect it from moisture and wetness (apart from the inside of
the water basin).

6. Do not let the power cord hang over table edges to prevent
the appliance from being pulled down. Make sure that neither
the power cord nor the power plug / power adapter come
into contact with e.g. a stove top or a heater resp. with the
appliance itself.
7. Put cables in such a way that no one can trip over them. The
appliance might be damaged or water could splash out. Do
not place the cable under carpets and keep it away from sharp
objects.
8. Always unroll the cable completely before connecting the
power adapter to the socket.
9. Never carry or pull the appliance by the cable and never place
anything on top of the cable. Never pull on the cable to dis­
connect the appliance from the power, only pull on the power
adapter.
10. We recommend that you do not use an extension cable with
this appliance. Do not place the appliance directly underneath
a power socket.
11. Keep the appliance away from hot gas, hot ovens and other
heat­emitting appliances or heat sources. Never use the appli­
ance on a hot or wet surface. Never place the appliance near
moisture, heat and naked flames. Keep the appliance away
from moving parts or appliances.
12. The appliance has to be placed on a solid, level, dry, stable and
moisture resistant surface during use (deep­pile rugs are not
suitable). Place the appliance somewhere it can not be knocked
or tipped over. Should the appliance topple over nonetheless,
immediately disconnect the power adapter and have the appli­
ance checked by Solis or a service centre authorized by Solis.
13. Keep a minimum distance of 50 cm between the appliance
and walls, curtains or other moisture sensitive materials and
objects and make sure that the air around the appliance can
circulate freely.
