Installation problems, causes and remedies
IN CASE OF DIFFICULTIES
If an operation gets blocked, the screen will turn black or the DVD-player will no longer run correctly.
If this happens, switch DVD-player off and on again.
If this does not help, repeatedly effect operation 1) and 2), one after the other, until the correct running is re-established.
1) Turn the ignition key to switch DVD-player off and on again.
2) Press RESET on the front-panel.
This Trouble-shooting Table will help resolving problems concerning the DVD reproduction.
In any case, always check if the system has been correctly connected or ask a professional Installer for advice.

Fuse is burnt.
Screen is not switched on.

Watching is reserved to adults only.
Fast Forward or Fast Backward are in course.
Car-battery is extremely weak
(nearly flat)
The active screen-matrix may be exhausted.

No disc is inserted.
Disc is very dirty.
Remote-control unable to effect commands
The inserted disc is a PAL or NTSC-type.
REMEDY
Replace fuse with a new equivalent one.
Switch screen on.
Wait about 1 hour until Players is completely
dry.
Replace with new battery (Cr2025) and
check correct voltage
Clean sensor/receiver.
Select internal or external video, in relation to
the source. (Page 31)
Check and insert disc with label upward.
Clean disc.
Check that the formats to be reproduced
are compatible with the player.
Eliminate child-protection or change
protection-level (Page 39).
Under these circumstances, non perfect
pictures are a normal thing.
Check battery and cables DVD-player
does not work correctly if tension
is lower than 10,8 Volt
Replace matrix or the whole screen.
Replace disc.
Insert a disc.
Clean disc.
This is no bad sign. Some discs simply do
not foreseen certain functions.
Change System in relation with
the inserted disc (page 38).
