IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Your new clipper contains a microchip – please note the following:
• When the unit is plugged in, you may experience slight movement in the
blade. This is normal as the microchip powers up.
• If you unplug your clipper, please wait 30 seconds before plugging it back in
to allow the microchip to be reset.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Plug cord into electrical outlet, operate 100-240 volt, 50/60 cycle AC electrical current
or as noted on unit.
UNIVERSAL AC/DC POWER ADAPTER
The unit is equipped with a universal AC/DC power adapter (Figure A).
Interchangeable input plugs are included for use in most countries around the world
(Figures B-D).
INSERTING INPUT PLUG:
1. Unplug AC/DC power adapter from wall outlet.
2. Insert tabs on top of plug into slots on power adapter (Figure E).
3. Push lower half of plug towards power adapter until it snaps into place.
REMOVING INPUT PLUG:
1. Unplug AC/DC power adapter from wall outlet.
2. Push up on tab on bottom of plug until plug releases from adapter.
5-SPEED OPERATION
Your Andis clipper is equipped with five cutting speeds. The speeds are adjusted
using the arrows on either side of the power button (Figure F). To start your clipper,
press the power button (Figure F). For optimal performance, it is recommended to
run your clipper for about three minutes prior to first groom, to allow the blade drive
to run at its optimal speed. To increase your blade speed, press the up arrow (+). To
decrease your blade speed, press the down arrow (–). To shut your clipper off, press
the power button. For optimal performance, always turn off the clipper while on high
speed. After using your Andis clipper, rewrap cord, and store in a safe place. Do not
wrap the cord around the clipper.
