6. Flow volumes and display:
The number of flashing signals of the consecutive groups
corresponds to the following flow volumes:
1 = flow volume 1 litre
Pause
2 = flow volume 2 litres (factory setting)
Pause
3 = flow volume 3 litres
Pause
...
7 = flow volume 7 litres
Pause
After the group with 7 flashing signals, the routine starts
from the beginning
1 = flow volume 1 litre
...
7. Selecting the flow volume
The flow volume is selected by removing the hand from the
detection zone (at least 60cm) in the pause after a group of
flashing signals.
Once the hand is removed, the fitting immediately flushes
with the selected flow volume (the corresponding flashing
signals are displayed again during flushing).
8. The flow volume can be readjusted within the next 20 s if
necessary. For this purpose, again hold hand at a distance
of 5 – 10cm in front of the sensor system (see point 5).
The selected flow volume is adopted as the new setting.
The setting mode is automatically terminated if there is no
hand in front of the sensor system within 20 s of flushing. The
area directly in front of the sensor system must be kept free
from objects for these 20 s as otherwise the flow volume will
be unintentionally adjusted once more.

Maintenance

Inspect and clean all components and replace if necessary.
Replacing solenoid valve
1. Remove locking screw (K1), see Fig. [8].
2. Remove plate (K) upwards from frame (G).
Fault / cause / remedy
Fault
Cause
No flushing
• Water supply interrupted
• Filter in solenoid valve blocked
• Plug-in connector without contact
• The detection zone of the sensor
system is set too low/too high
• Solenoid valve defective
• Transformer defective
• Electronics defective (indicator lamp
on rear not flashing or permanently on)
• Power failure
Water flowing
• Solenoid valve defective
continuously
Undesired flushing
• The detection zone of the sensor
system is set too high
Flow volume too low
• Flow volume set too low
• Filter in solenoid valve blocked
• Solenoid valve defective
Flow volume too high • Flow volume set too high
• Solenoid valve defective

3. Disconnect plug-in connection between solenoid valve (F)
and electronics (J).
4. Close isolating valve (B), see Fig. [2].
5. Remove solenoid valve (F), see Fig. [10].
6. Fit new solenoid valve (F).
Assemble in reverse order.
Cleaning or replacing filter
1. Remove solenoid valve, see Replacing solenoid valve.
2. Remove filter (F1) and clean or replace it, see Fig [11].
Assemble in reverse order.
Replacing the transformer
Switch off voltage supply!
1. Remove solenoid valve, see Replacing solenoid valve.
2. Disconnect plug-in connection between upper part (C) of
transformer and electronics (J).
3. Detach upper part (C) of transformer from base (D), press
together holding clamps (C1) and (C2), see Fig. [12].
4. Attach a new upper part (C).
Assemble in reverse order.
Replacing the cover plate with electronics
1. Remove locking screw (K1), see Fig. [8].
2. Remove plate (K) upwards from frame (G).
3. Disconnect plug-in connection of electronics (J) from
solenoid valve (F) and from upper part (C) of transformer.
4. Remove screws (J1) and bracket (J2), see Fig. [13].
5. Replace old electronic module (J).
Assemble in reverse order.
Replacement parts, see fold-out page I
(* = special accessories).
Care
For directions on the care of this fitting, please refer to the
accompanying care information.
Remedy
- Open isolating valve in wall connection box
- Clean or replace filter, see Cleaning or replacing filter
- Attach plug-in connector
- Increase/reduce detection zone using remote control
(special accessories 36 206).
- Replace solenoid valve, see Replacing solenoid valve
- Replace transformer, see Replacing transformer
- Replace electronics, see Replacing the cover plate
with electronics
- Reconnect the power supply
- Replace solenoid valve, see Replacing solenoid valve
- An opposing object is detected. Reduce detection zone
using remote control (special accessories 36 206).
- Adjust flow volume, see Setting the flow volume
