Start
When the interface receives this datapoint (any value), it sends a Start command to the control unit, which has the same effect as closing
a switch on the start terminal. The effect of the command depends on how the control unit is configured: in particular, the V2 control
units allow to program the effect of the start command during the opening of the gate, during the pause time counting and during
closing.
The dispatch of the start command to the control unit can be inhibited by the datapoint MASTER ENABLE (Master Enable); this allows you
to disable by bus the devices that activate the gate at certain times or under certain conditions.

Pedestrian
When the interface receives this datapoint (any value), it sends a Pedestrian Start command to the control unit, which has the same effect
as closing a switch on the pedestrian start terminal. The effect of the command depends on how the control unit is configured: if the
control unit is set to Open/Close mode, the command, as well as the switch on the terminal, controls the closing of the gate.
The dispatch of the pedestrian start command to the control unit can be inhibited by the datapoint MASTER ENABLE (Master Enable); this
allows you to disable by bus the devices that activate the gate at certain times or under certain conditions.
The interface interrogates the control unit to know the position of each gate leaf.
If the gate has only one leaf, the datapoint POSITION shows its position; if the gate has two
leaves, the datapoint POSITION reports the average position of each leaf.
The position of the gate is read by the control unit; due to the rounding up and inaccuracies of
the speed, it is possible especially when the stroke is short that when the gate stops the opening
percentage reported by the control unit is not exactly 0% or 100%; this can create problems with
devices that rely on the datapoint POSITION to recognize the gate's end-of-stroke status.
Through this parameter, it is possible to force the interface to send the value 0 (gate closed) or
255 (gate open) as soon as the percentage of opening reported by the control unit approaches
within a certain value.
For example, with the default value of 2:

% of opening = 3
datapoint POSITION sends 7 (3 x 255 / 100)
% of opening = 97
datapoint POSITION sends 247 (97 x 255 / 100)
% of opening = 98
datapoint POSITION sends 255
A virtual safety device can be simulated on the bus, whose status is transmitted through datapoint
SAFETY DEVICE.
Depending on the VirtualSafety parameter setting, the value received by the bus is sent to the
control unit as the state of one of the available safety features, while the others are always
considered inactive.
For example, if value 1 is chosen (Photocell only in pause/closing), after receiving a telegram with
the On value on the datapoint SAFETY DEVICE the state of the virtual photocell is sent as active if
the gate is paused or closed, and not active in other cases; the state of the sensitive edge and the
stop button is always sent inactive.
In order for the control unit to respond to safety features simulated by bus, you must activate the
ADI device recognition menu.
Establishes the period of sending of the datapoint GATE NOT CLOSED, that is, the information of
the gate completely closed or partially/completely open.
The set value indicates the time in seconds.
If you set the value to 0, the datapoint GATE NOT CLOSED is sent only when the gate passes from
the fully closed state to a partially open state or vice versa, (there is no periodic sending).
